#9 Foxy Junior (20-1) tried turf for the first time at PEN on Aug. 8 and she chased the pace and weakened to 5th of 7. She is 9-for-16 on fast dirt and 2-for-2 at LRL, and both of her local victories were stakes races last fall. Her regular rider Jomar Torres is 4-for-8 with T. Bernard Houghton recently and she has stuck twice at one mile.
#6 Ragtime Belle (7-2) moved to the Brittany Russell barn and rallied for the show in the Obeah on June 14, and she rallied to win a slow early/fast late flat mile event at CNL on July 31. The late running mare has struck twice at one mile and she should be finishing for Team Russell.
#7 St. Benedicts Prep (8-1) was part of the trifecta in eight of her last ten starts. She ran well in all three local starts including a stakes victory in the Alma North at 6.5f June 28. She is 0-for-4 with a second and a third at one mile.
#4 Tipple (9-2) was part of the exacta in five of six dirt starts. She exits a victory at 1 1/16 and ran well in both flat mile starts.
