#2 Uncle Evco (5-2) is a 1-for-18 gelding and he does some of his best work at one mile on fast dirt (5 1-3-1). He returned to dirt and finished a clear third in a similar local spot Feb. 21. Armando Ayuso takes the call and he should be forwardly placed.
#3 Irish Element (7-5) dropped to the Mcl-12.5k ranks and picked up his first win as the strong favorite at this course/distance March 13. Antonio Fresu is his new rider and he might be able to make it two straight wins.
#4 One Happy Dude (7-2) won two of his last three local sprints. He exits a $25k score at 6f and will try to navigate two turns.
#1 Macho Man (9-2) missed all of 2025 and returned as a gelding and was last of 6 in a local sprint Feb. 20. He drops in class and stretches out.
