Horse Comments:
#6 My Kat (1-1) won back-to-back dirt sprints in November (5.5f, 6f), and she moved to turf and finished 4th of 6 Jan. 9. She returned to dirt and dueled and finished third Jan. 23. She dueled and weakened to 7th of 8 as the beaten 3-2 favorite at 5.5f Feb. 20. Kazushi Kimura sticks with her and she drops out of the state bred OC ranks, and the speedy filly drew the comfortable outside post. All three of her wins were at DMR.
#4 Flamingo Star (8-1) is best sprinting. She completed the trifecta in three straight dirt sprints (October 2025, December 2025, January 2026), and she dueled and weakened at 8T Jan. 23. She turned back and graduated at 6T Feb. 6, and she was 5th of 6 at 8T March 1. She turns back and returns to dirt.
#5 Final Table Lady (3-1) raced wide from the outside post and finished last of 8 as a 63-1 outsider in the Cal Cup Oaks at 8T Jan. 17. She returned to dirt, dropped in class, turned back, and split an 8-horse field in a Clm-20k sprint Feb. 1 (first lasix). Armando Ayuso sticks and she wired the field in a CA-bred Mcl-50k dirt sprint as the favorite at DMR last fall.
