Check out my Monday (4-13-26) Parx Racing Race 8 analysis below.

PRX 8 (Str-OC-16k, 3&up, 1 mile 70 yards dirt) – Post Time 3:49 PM ET
Primary – #5 PLAY THE GRAY, #8 Shallus
Secondary – #6 No Mor Stones, #2 Week’s Strong

Horse Comments:

#5 Play the Gray (3-1) was clearly second best behind romping winner Nogradi at this course/distance Feb. 11 and the latter clicked right back March 11. He exceeded the winning par for this last time and a stalking trip is expected.

#8 Shallus (5-2) rallied for the show in a flat mile Mcl-30k affair on all-weather ground at TP March 12 and Scott Lake claimed him that day. He shipped to Penn National and dusted three rivals as the strong favorite in a flat mile MSW affair April 3. That was his 29th career start and he finally got over the hump. Let’s see if he can step up and win again.

#6 No Mor Stones (8-1) stretches back out in his second start off a layoff. He graduated at this course and distance and should be forwardly placed.

#2 Week’s Strong (8-1) fired trifecta shots in his last five dirt sprints. His new trainer Trevor Gallimore is a profitable 19% first after the claim and his new apprentice rider Yedsit Hazlewood is 25% at Parx.

Wagers:

#5 to win
