#5 Igniter (5-2) graduated as the favorite at one mile second time out last year, and was 6th of 11 in the G2 Remsen at 9f in December. He returned in February and stalked and scored by 4 lengths as the chalk at 7f, and he dueled and tallied by a length at 6f in the Jimmy Winkfield March 14. Rick Durrow’s colt is faster this year and could easily win again under Irad Ortiz Jr.
#4 Obliteration (6-5) was part of the exacta in his first five starts and he won two of those races including the G3 Sanford. He was fourth in the G1 BC Juvenile Turf Sprint, and was first in the Renaissance and second in the Saudi Derby in his last pair. We will see how he fares in his first start back from the Middle East for Steve Asmussen.
#6 Shane’s Wonder (3-1) won all three starts at Parx this year including the Wait for It April 22. These Parx shippers do not always transfer their form to other venues but he should be right there if he does.
