#4 I’m Otter Here (2-1) ran well in all three starts since moving to the Brian Koriner barn this year. He rallied for the place at 6.5T March 1 and that was his first start in almost a year. He stalked and beat three rivals at 2-1 odds at 6.5T March 27, and he dueled outside from an outer post and was second best in a similar local 8T affair April 26. His last number exceeded the winning par for this. Hector Berrios rides him well and he will probably beat these if he duplicates his last.
#7 Mysterious Husband (3-1) ran well in his first five starts after Glatt claimed him for $62.5k August 2024. He graduated by a nose February 2025 and returned from a long layoff and went last-to-first at this course/distance March 1 (runner-up Call Me Sir next-out winner, Sneaking Candy 3rd). He chased and weakened to 8th of 9 in a regression run as the favorite at 8T April 26. His winning rider Emisael Jaramillo stays put and they might try to take him back like they did in March.
#6 Sneaking Candy (7-2) looked like a need to lead type prior to his last. He passed horses for the first time in a 6-1 win at 8T April 25. He might be able to click right back if Armando Ayuso can get him to settle early again.
#3 Savage Warden (4-1) stalked and scored as a 25-1 longshot in his Mcl-35k 5T bow and the show finisher was a next-out winner. He was 4th of 7 in a synthetic sprint second time out (show finisher next-out winner), and he was best of the rest in third December 2025. Phil D’Amato took over as his trainer and Antonio Fresu hopped aboard in a local 8T affair April 25, and he chased from second and won by 1 3/4 lengths as my top choice (first lasix). He sports three local works since his last and can compete with these if he runs a bit faster.
