#3 Majorca (4-1) landed the place in two of his first six starts for Todd Pletcher. He moved to the Daniel Eubanks barn and wired the field in the local mud March 7 (Mcl-25k), and clear runner-up Lannister romped by 6+ lengths as the strong favorite at 6f March 28 (Mcl-25k). He was 16-1 in a local entry level allowance affair at one mile April 19 and he went all the way and scored by 3 lengths, and he made it three straight wins at LRL May 15 (Surfside Moon 3rd). Martin Chuan is 2-for-2 with him and the sharp Maryland shipper should attend the pace.
#5 Surfside Moon (2-1) moved to the Brittany Russell barn and looked good going last-to-first as the favorite at PEN in an entry level dirt route March 25 (show finisher next-out winner). He rallied to finish a clear third as the beaten favorite May 15 and this one hit the board in two stakes last year (2nd in Withers and 3rd in Tesio). Jevian Toledo is 5-for-17 with this barn and this one used to show tactical speed but closed in both starts this year.
#4 I Feelucky Tonite (8-1) missed by neck as the favorite in a local $25k claimer May 16 and his new trainer is a profitable 26% first after the claim. His new pilot Jorge Vargas, Jr. wins races with this barn and he can rally for a share.
