Horse Comments:
#2 Tricky Business (2-1) was 3-1 in his flat mile bow May 10 and he pressed from the outside post and graduated by 3 1/2 lengths, and the 2-3 finishers were next-out winners. He was 7-1 in the Pegasus Stakes at MTH second time out and he broke slow and finished 4th of 5 (beaten 16 lengths). He adds blinkers, goes back on lasix, and reconnects with his winning debut pilot Flavien Prat.
#4 Toscano (5-2) fired in all three starts at one mile. He returned to dirt and was clearly second best as the favorite at one mile June 21, and he was an even 4th of 9 from the inside post at 7f June 7. Tyler Gaffalione is his new pilot and he sports two local moves for this, and he should be forwardly placed. He is 0-for-4 with a runner-up finish at SAR.
#7 Judge Bushay (3-1) was part of the trifecta in all four maiden starts. He was second best behind Tricky Business May 10 (first lasix), and he stalked, led, and earned his diploma by a half-length at 8f June 11. Manny Franco sticks with Chad Brown’s colt and I like his early-pressing versatility.
#5 King Farro (6-1) stalked the pace and was best of the rest in third in his 6.5f bow as a 25-1 longshot last fall (winner next-out winner). He returned in a flat mile affair May 10 and dueled and was best of the rest in third as the beaten favorite May 10 (first lasix). The 2-3 finishers from that heat were next-out winners, and this one graduated as my top choice in a local 6.5f affair on a track labeled good June 7. He sports two local moves since his last.
