Horse Comments:
#4 Legal Lightning (7-2) landed the place in her last two local sprints at 6f and 7f. I like her tactical speed and her new rider Jaime Rodriguez is 1-for-1 with 28% first route trainer Jamie Ness.
#2 Medium Cool (9-2) stretches out in her first start after the claim and she is probably the one to catch under Paco Lopez. The 2-time local dirt sprint winner opened up a clear early lead and was third by a length in a flat mile all-weather affair in March, and that was her longest test to date.
#6 Spastic Bid (4-1) was best of the rest in third in a local flat mile affair July 21. Juan Guerrero is 29% with his second after the claim runners and a stalking trip is expected.
#3 Dean of Belonging (6-1) was all over the pace from the inside post in her winning course/distance bow, and was up the track in her next two starts. Her new rider Melvis Gonzalez is 2-for-2 with Juan Guerrero and she might rebound at playable odds.
