#4 Jet Black Jewel (3-1) was 3rd of 8 and 5th of 11 in her last two MSW turf routes. Robert Hess, Jr. is a profitable 25% with his first time maiden claiming starters and her new rider Juan Hernandez is 1-for-2 with this outfit.
#3 Astronomically (4-1) stalked the pace and finished 7th of 10 as the beaten favorite July 30 and Phil D’Amato claimed her for $50k that day. She sports three local works since her last start and Joel Rosario is 1-for-6 with this outfit.
#5 Golden Hope (7-2) stretches back out, returns to turf, and drops out of the MSW ranks. Rispoli got to know her last time and she set the pace and finished a half-length in front of Jet Black Jewel at 8T June 11.
#2 Velvet Reign (4-1) moved to the Doug O’Neill barn, set the pace, and was best of the rest in third in a local Mcl-50k affair at 8T July 30. Antonio Fresu stays put and he is 5-for-12 with this barn recently.
