#7 Daytona Diamond (5-2) was 10-1 in her local 5.5f bow Aug. 8 and she rallied from off the pace to graduate by 5 1/4 lengths (show finisher next-out winner). The Tonalist filly sports a pair of local half-mile moves since her debut and she will try to get involved from off the pace for the productive Kazushi Kimura/Carla Gaines team.
#4 Sentient Soon (8-1) was 2-1 in her 4.5f bow at SA May 8 and she made the lead and scored by 1 1/4 lengths. She set the pace from the inside post and weakened to 4th of 6 (beaten 12 lengths) in the CTBA at 6-1 odds second time out. She shows three local works for this and should flash speed under her winning rider Kyle Frey.
#9 Stay Bossy (6-1) was along for the show as a 15-1 outsider in her 4.5f bow and Sentient Soon wired the field that day. She was 5-1 at 5f second time out and she stalked and prevailed by a head. She rallied for the place behind runaway winner Free Closer in the CTBA Aug. 2. Juan Hernandez is her new rider and this slightly longer trip might be to her liking.
