#10 Call Me Sir (9-2) fired trifecta shots in four of his last five starts. He rallied to finish a close third vs. this kind Aug. 2, and he was third again Aug. 30. This is his third start off the bench and he reunites with his winning rider Kazushi Kimura. Both of his wins were at SA and he usually runs his race at 8T (8 2-2-3).
#3 Muscled (5-2) fired exacta shots in five of his last seven turf route attempts (2 wins). He graduated at this course and distance (February 2025), and he rallied for the win at 9T Sept. 6. Umberto Rispoli stays put and he was aboard for both of his wins.
#4 Santa Barbarian (3-1) captured back-to-back local turf routes in 2025 including the Snow Chief. He competed in the stakes ranks in four of his last five starts, and the 2-time local winner graduated at 8T May 2025. This is a better start and he might move up in this easier spot in his third start off a layoff.
#1 Dynodave (8-1) was part of the exacta in four of his last six turf route attempts. His winning rider Hector Berrios strings along, and he should save ground behind the speed in his third start off a short layoff.
#9 Amplitude (10-1) cuts back and drops in class in his third start off a layoff. He won at SA in May, and he might be in the running for a minor award.
