Horse Comments:
#3 Flying Free (4-1) was 53-1 in her local bow vs. open company Sept. 19 and she dueled and held the show (beaten 10 lengths). She was the 2-1 favorite in a local PA-bred MDSW dirt sprint second time out, and she stalked the pace, opened up, and won by 3 1/4 lengths. This Wicked Strong filly has some ability.
#4 Welovemollynteddy (2-1) was 2-1 in her 5.5f and she dueled and aired by 15 lengths. She shipped to Laurel for the Smart Halo Stakes second time out, and she rallied from 5 lengths back to miss by a nose in a 4-horse field on a track labeled good. She returned to Parx after that quality stakes effort and drilled a half-mile bullet for this Oct. 20. She reconnects with her winning rider Paco Lopez.
#2 Miss Ma’am (6-1) dropped from MSW to Mcl-40k and graduated by 2 1/2 lengths as the favorite Oct. 4, and Jamie Ness claimed her that day. The Mo Donegal filly should save ground behind the speed.
#5 No One Else’s (6-1) rallied for the show in her 5f bow at CNL July 22, and she pressed and earned her diploma in an extended sprint second time out. She chased the pace and was beaten 29 lengths in the Sorority Aug. 29, and winner Emphatic returned to win the G1 Alcibiades and G1 BC Juvenile Fillies. I am not sure that she is fast enough to rally for the win at 6f, but she can get a piece of this.
