Horse Comments:
#2 Souper Dormy (3-1) won at this distance at Woodbine in November and was second in December. He chased wide and raced evenly in a local sprint Feb. 23 and the runner-up was a next-out winner. Martin Drexler is enjoying a productive meet and Edwin Gonzalez is a profitable sprint rider.
#1 Bless America (2-1) fired trifecta shots in all five synthetic starts, and stalked and scored when last seen October 2024. Saffie Joseph, Jr. is a profitable 32% with new additions to his barn and he should save ground stalking the pace.
#6 Takecareofbusiness (4-1) is a decent late runner on all-weather ground. He rallied wide for the show in a similar local sprint March 5. This is his second start after a layoff and he will try to get involved from off the pace.
#3 Louie the Sun King (9-5) should make his presence felt from the outset. He finished in the top three in his first five all-weather starts (2 wins). He returned from a layoff and stalked, led, and weakened to fourth at this course/distance March 5, and ended up a neck behind Takecareofbusiness.
