#6 Scratch It (3-1) is versatile for Brad Cox. She set a pressured pace and graduated by a length and a quarter at 12-1 odds in her 8T bow at SAR Aug. 1 (show finisher next-out winner). She stalked the pace second time out and finished second to sharp winner Time to Dream in the P. G. Johnson at 8.5T on Aug. 27, and the aforementioned winner returned to finish a good third as the favorite from post 10 in the G2 Jessamine on Oct. 3. Kazushi Kimura rides the $450k Tapit filly and she earned an improved number second time out.
#3 Will Happen (9-5) was too fast for her rivals in her 5T bow under apprentice Orantes. She won that MSW event at DMR as the chalk by 4+ lengths and the runner-up was a next-out winner. The $210k Vekoma filly drilled a local 5f bullet for this Sept. 15 and Richard Baltas is 2-for-28 with his first route starters. Juan Hernandez is her new pilot and she has stamina influences on the dam side, and she is probably the target.
#8 Brave Deb (12-1) set above par fractions from the inside post and prevailed by a head in her 8T bow at DMR. Richard Mandella only won two races at Del Mar this summer and she overperformed at 9-1. She might run faster second time out.
#1 Yours Sincerely (6-1) shipped to this country and rallied for the win in a MSW turf route at 8-1 odds Aug. 16. She showed a nice late kick that day and rallied mildly to finish 4th of 11 as the beaten favorite from an outer post in the Juvenile Fillies Turf at DMR Sept. 6. She adds blinkers and shows two local works for this, and her new rider Umberto Rispoli is 24% with Phil D’Amato.
