#6 Army Gal (3-1) exceeded the winning par for this in a local NY-bred OC-45k/2x affair at this distance Sept. 11 and clear runner-up Collect the Data romped by 6 lengths as the favorite at one mile on Nov. 8. She is 3-for-5 with a runner-up finish at AQU and she ran well in both starts at this trip.
#7 Senza Parole (9-5) was visually impressive in her SAR bow last year and the runner-up was a next-out winner. She disappeared for a year and set the pace and blew a clear lead in a runner-up finish as the beaten favorite at SAR Aug. 24. Chad Brown’s sophomore filly was 9-2 in the G2 Gallant Bloom on Sept. 27 and she chased from second from the outside post and weakened to 5th of 8 (show finisher next-out winner). She should be forwardly placed and should be in the thick of things from the outset in her third start of the year.
#10 Grammy Girl (4-1) was part of the trifecta in seven of eight local starts and she won three of those races including a victory at this distance Oct. 18. She drilled a local 3f bullet for this Nov. 9 and projects an outside stalking trip under her winning rider Javier Castellano.
#2 Despo’s Dream (10-1) finished in the top three in seven of her last nine starts. She ended up 2 1/2 lengths behind Senza Parole on Aug. 24. Linda Rice has good stats with horses making their second start under her care and this one might be able to hit the board at a price.
