Horse Comments:
#2 Liberation (4-5) was part of the trifecta in all five state bred starts and she looks better than this group. She stalked and scored in her 4.5f bow at SA in May. She was the 1-2 favorite in the CTBA second time out and had a troubled trip and finished 4th of 7, and she was placed third through disqualification. She dueled and held the show in the Generous Portion at 5.5f Sept. 1, and she dropped into an optional-claiming sprint at 6.5f at SA on Oct. 3 and she pressed the pace and won easily as the favorite. The Golden State Juvenile Fillies at 7f on Oct. 31 was her most recent outing and she was best of the rest in third from the outside post in an 11-horse field. She matched the winning par for this last time and she acts like she will handle two turns.
#4 Cammy’s Girl (8-1) was 15-1 in her 5.5f bow at DMR on Nov. 16 and she broke 10th from the inside post and rallied for the show. Dan Blacker’s filly earned a decent late pace rating last time and she might rally for a share at a price under Tiago Pereira.
#6 Eighties (7-2) improved in her last two turf routes. She removed blinkers and stalked the pace and finished third at 8T on Aug. 28. She set the pace and cruised by 4 lengths on Oct. 18 and show finisher #1 Cecilia Street (4-1) graduated by 2 1/4 lengths at 8T on Nov. 14.
