#11 Thirsty Trickster (6-1) won a $16k claimer at DMR in August and Bob Hess, Jr. claimed her that day. She was 34-1 vs. this kind at 6.5f Sept. 7 and she broke 11th and rallied to miss by a half-length. She was the favorite in a $16k claimer at 5.5f Nov. 2 and she chased the pace and split a pair of next-out winners. Jeff Mullins claimed her last time and Hector Berrios is her new rider.
#7 Goodnight Nellie (6-1) exits a show finish as the even money favorite in a $25k/3L dirt sprint and Andy Mathis claimed her that day. She dueled and scored in a local $25k/2L sprint in July and she should be right up on the pace under her new rider Diego Herrera (2-for-4 w/Mathis).
#9 Stop Digging (5-2) was part of the trifecta in seven of her last ten starts. She was the favorite in a flat mile affair when last seen in April and she rallied for the place. Juan Hernandez sticks with her and she will try to get involved from off the pace. She is 0-for-9 with six runner-up finishes on fast dirt.
#5 In the Air Tonight (4-1) is 0-for-9 with a pair of show finishes this year. She raced wide and ended up 4th of 10 vs. this kind at SA Oct. 18 and the runner-up was a next-out winner. The patient runner hit the board in both local events and she is entered for the $20k tag.
#8 Buds N Suds (9-2) finished in the top three in seven of her last ten outings. She won back-to-back races in June (Clm-12.5k/2L) and August (Clm-10k/3L), and split a 12-horse field as a 43-1 longshot in September. She rallied for the show in her last two starts under Armando Ayuso.
