#4 Biggiebiggiebiggie (3-1) dropped to this level, added lasix, and rallied from the inside post and landed the place as the favorite at this course/distance Jan. 30. Emisael Jaramillo knows him now and he wins races with Doug O’Neill, and he earned a decent late pace rating last time (final 1/4 in 23.6).
#2 Nezha (6-1) raced wide and was last of 10 (beaten 9.25 lengths) in his MSW bow at 8T as a 17-1 longshot late last year. Dam has tossed two turf winners and Bob Baffert is 33% with his first lasix starters.
#10 Keagman (7-2) was a MSW dropper on Jan. 30 and he stalked the pace and finished a length behind Biggiebiggiebiggie (first blinkers and lasix). Edwin Maldonado takes the call and he might be aggressively handled from a wide post.
#7 Prime Artist (5-1) earned a better number in his second start in this country at 9T Jan. 25. He drops out of the MSW ranks and Leonard Powell is a profitable 14% with his first lasix starters. Armando Ayuso rides back and he is 0-for-14 with this barn recently.
