Multiple Del Mar riders recently tested positive for coronavirus, and live racing was cancelled July 17-19. Live racing is expected to resume on Friday, July 24.
There will be multiple changes when they resume racing next Friday. The jockeys quarters will be expanded so they can practice proper social distancing, and there will be new travel restrictions in place for riders.
In addition to racing July 24, 25, and 26, they have added Monday, July 27 to the schedule. There will be added races and days to make up for the lost cards July 17-19.
My Del Mar full card analysis will resume as soon they are back in action, and I will cover the seaside oval each day they are racing this summer. This week, I have switched my full cards to Saratoga.
