#1 C W Prize (3-1) exceeded the winning par for this in a show finish in the local Highland Ice at six panels on April 16. He fired trifecta shots in all eight starts (4 wins), and attended the pace and hit the board in both flat mile starts.
#5 Kaleo (4-1) rallied wide to beat Number One Dude by a neck last time. He won both local starts this year and fired in all four outings at one mile.
#3 Number One Dude (2-1) stalked the pace and missed by a neck as the 1-2 favorite at one mile on April 8, and that was his first start since December 2023. The American Lion gelding likes this oval and sports five wins at this distance. He burned money as the beaten favorite in multiple races since last September.
#6 Kwontro (8-1) is probably the one to catch. He went all the way on March 11, and weakened to third in the common April 8 affair. He likes this course and distance, and might hang around for quite some time in his third start of the year.
