Horse Comments:
#3 Rock N Reward (5-2) stalked and missed by a head in her local debut last fall, and dueled on the lead and graduated by a neck as the overwhelming favorite second time out. She moved to the Brandon Kulp barn and briefly pressed from the rail before fading as my top choice in her Penn National return on May 29. She is back at her winning venue in her second start after a long layoff, and she might go much better in this all-weather sprint.
#1 Heading East (3-1) was an even fourth in her needed local return at 11-1 odds on May 21. She reunites with her winning rider Pablo Morales and an improved effort is possible. She figures to save ground behind the speed.
#7 Dweller (2-1) finished in a dead heat for the place in the common May 21 sprint. She is also trained by Brandon Kulp and he excels with his third after a layoff starters. She frequently settles for minor awards and I am not thrilled with the morning line price. Pablo Morales jumps over to Heading East.
#6 Drowningnchocolate (9-2) returned to all-weather ground and picked up that elusive first win in her sixteenth start on May 27. She has quality local connections in her corner and might not be out of this.
