#9 Call Me Sir (4-1) added blinkers, stalked the pace, and graduated in a flat mile turf race as the favorite Oct. 18, and the 2-3 finishers were next-out winners. The surface switcher is a new gelding and his winning rider Umberto Rispoli is 4-for-10 with Mark Glatt recently (9 Top 3 finishes).
#2 Shea Brennan (9-2) went last-to-first in his dirt sprint bow at Del Mar July 26, and he landed the show in all three starts since including a pair of stakes placings. His new rider Antonio Fresu shows a flat bet profit with Phil D’Amato, and the plan is to relax early and come running in the stretch.
#5 R Heisman (2-1) is a first time gelding. He rallied to miss by a half-length as the favorite in the Golden State Juvenile at seven panels Nov. 1. Juan Hernandez stays put and he was part of the exacta all four times under this pilot.
#6 Hardtobebetternow (8-1) was 7-2 in his turf route bow at Del Mar and he stalked the pace and landed the place. Tim Yakteen has good stats with his non-graded starters and Kazushi Kimura got to know him last time.
