Horse Comments:
#8 It’s Game Time (7-2) captured three of his last four starts. The sharp 8-year-old gelding owns early-pressing versatility and his winning rider Frankie Pennington is 4-for-5 with Jamie Ness recently.
#2 Just Step On It (4-1) pressed and eased as a 76-1 outsider in the PA Derby (G1) Sept. 21. The early-pressing colt sports two local wins and figures to attend the pace under his winning rider Dexter Haddock.
#5 Jasper’s Pride (9-2) ran on for the place in a slow early/fast late event Nov. 19 and It’s Game Time won that race by 4 3/4 lengths. Apprentice rider Christopher Elliott stays put and the sophomore gelding projects a stalking trip.
#3 In Spades (6-1) dueled and finished a clear third in the common Nov. 19 route. He fired trifecta shots in 8 of his last 10 starts and should make his presence felt from the outset.
