#9 Shot of Courage (5-1) stalked the pace and finished a clear third in a similar local dirt route Nov. 24. That was his first start after the claim and he won three of four prior to his last. The 3-year-old gelding projects an outside stalking trip at a hint of a price.
#5 Beauty N the Bolt (5-2) exits back-to-back prominent throughout wins as the favorite by a combined 20 lengths. The sophomore filly exceeded the winning par for this in both of those claiming dirt route wins.
#2 Pass the Baton (3-1) smartly went last-to-first as the favorite in a local starter allowance route at this distance Nov 2, and rallied for the place vs. this kind Nov 24. The sharp gelding reconnects with his winning rider Alexander Chavez and will try to get involved from off the pace.
#1 Atomic Drop (6-1) put blinkers back on, battled on the pace, and captured two straight local $16k claiming dirt routes on Nov. 1 and Nov. 24. He should impact the pace from the inside post.
#7 Trusty Rusty (8-1) landed the place on Oct. 14 and Nov. 1, and stalked wide from post 10 and ended up an even fourth in the common local dirt route Nov. 24. He figures to stalk the pace at playable odds.
