Check out my Sunday (1-12-25) Gulfstream Park Race 9 analysis below.
GP 9 (OC-62.5k/2x, 4&up, 7 furlongs dirt) – Post Time 4:20 PM ET
Primary – #6 SUNCROFT
Secondary – #7 Caramel Chip, #3 Concrete Glory
Horse Comments:
#6 Suncroft (9-5) is a lightly raced 5-year-old Arrogate horse making his first start since June. He ran well in all four sprints and Brad Cox’s early-pressing Juddmonte runner should work out a comfortable trip from an advantageous post. This one sports two bullets for this and Tyler Gaffalione is his new rider.
#7 Caramel Chip (9-2) ran on for fourth from post 10 in the G3 Mr. Prospector Dec. 28. The 5-time local winner sports two wins at seven panels and figures to stalk the pace from the outside post under Luis Saez.
#3 Concrete Glory (2-1) is a win type with a 9-for-15 local record, and he is 3-for-3 at seven panels. He exits a romping wire job vs. lesser, and he steps up and meets other speed. Irad Ortiz Jr. is his new rider and he wins races with Saffie Joseph Jr.
Wagers:
