#6 Viggiedal (4-1) flashed ability as a 2-year-old. She smartly won her bow, and dueled and weakened in the Schuylerville. She set the pace and was best of the rest in third in the Bolton Landing (off the turf), and stalked outside from post 11th and weakened in the Untapable at 6.5T. This is her first start since September 2024 and Steve Asmussen’s $350k Vekoma filly might be the one to catch. She is firing bullets for this and looks ready to roll off the bench.
#7 Miss Martini (2-1) was part of the exacta in all three starts. The tactical Curlin filly exits a runner-up finish in the Dixie Belle and gives Steve Asmussen another live contender.
#4 Praying (9-2) finished out of the exacta for the first time when splitting a 10-horse field in the Fern Creek in November. She might need the outing.
#2 Trouble in Love (5-2) earned a better number in a nice maiden win second time out, and split an 8-horse field as the beaten favorite Feb. 17 (winner next-out winner). She might bounce back.
