Horse Comments:
#2 Dolomite (5-1) finished in the top three in all ten starts and she is on a roll for Chad Brown. She won her last three dirt sprints as the favorite and is a perfect 3-for-3 at seven panels. She was part of the exacta in all three local starts including a sharp dirt sprint win as the favorite last summer. Her tactical speed should lead to a good trip and she might offer a hint of value this time.
#8 Sterling Silver (5-2) fired trifecta shots in her last six starts. The 2-time local winner has stuck four times at this distance and figures to stalk the pace for the productive Alvarado/Mott team.
#5 My Mane Squeeze (3-1) is 6-for-16 overall but is just two for her last ten and she has dropped four straight. She tackled graded company in her last ten starts and is fairly reliable (16 6-2-5). She has won at Saratoga before and frequently finishes in the top three at seven panels (8 2-2-3).
#6 Landed (8-1) is always part of the trifecta (9 5-1-3). She is 2-for-2 at Saratoga and 2-for-2 at seven panels. She will probably be forwardly placed.
#7 Cupid’s Heart (8-1) is another consistent performer (13 4-3-5) and she was less than a length behind Dolomite on June 26. Flavien Prat sticks with her and she ran well in all her starts and this course and distance. She will try to get involved from off the pace.
