#3 Claramente (3-1) was part of the trifecta in eight of her last ten starts (3 wins). She stalked and scored by 3 lengths from the inside post in a local $25k route Oct. 1. Antonio Gallardo rides her well and she likes this course (7 3-1-2) and distance ((4 2-1-1).
#7 Mason’s Music (9-5) finished in the top three in seven of her last ten starts (3 wins). She won a $25k/3L all-weather route in Canada last fall and captured a flat mile turf race in her Woodbine return in August. She exits a show finish (beaten 1 length) in a flat mile turf race and her trainer is a profitable 18% with horses moving from turf to synthetic.
#8 Mo Sense (10-1) ran well in back-to-back local routes on Sept. 15 and Oct. 6. She earned a better number in a runner-up finish last time and might move forward again in her third start off a layoff for a productive jockey-trainer team.
#9 La Artiste (4-1) landed the place in her last two starts. She was second in a turf route stakes race on Aug. 29 and completed the exacta in a local allowance route as the favorite on Sept. 15.
