Comments: #2 Ambivalent (5-1) finished a clear 2nd in his solid 4.5f bow at SA June 21, and he took money and was supposed to run well that day. O’Neill’s $550k son of Constitution is probably going to appreciate the added ground of this race, and he might be able to stalk and graduate in this graded contest. #4 Roderick (9-5) blitzed three foes in his Belmont debut June 21, and the runner-up was a next-out winner. He was the strong favorite that day for win early trainer Ward, and the $550k purchase might run these into the ground. #5 Herd Immunity (7-2) is the only entrant with stakes experience at this distance. He stalked and scored in his 5f bow and was best of the rest in 3rd in the Bashford Manor (G3) last time. He removes blinkers and will probably stalk under Cedillo. #6 Weston (5-1) beat Ambivalent in his SA debut, and he showed good speed throughout that day. He meets other speed and has to navigate another furlong and a half.
