Comments: #5 Wild Jewels (9-5) won his last three starts at GG on all-weather ground. His last two wins were in the stakes ranks and he handled two turns in the Gold Rush Dec. 2. He graduated in his dirt sprint bow and should be forwardly placed from the outside post for the profitable Alvarado/Specht team. #1 Last Call London (2-1) removed blinkers and stretched out in the King Glorious at one mile Dec. 17, and he pressed and prevailed by a neck in that slow early/fast late event. The versatile gelding projects a forwardly placed trip from the inside post under his regular rider Hernandez. #2 Mici’s Express (3-1) got the wrong setup as the beaten favorite in the King Glorious. #3 Stolen Treasure (3-1) smartly went all the way in his 8T maiden win Dec. 1, and battled on the pace and missed by a neck in the King Glorious. He is probably the one to catch.
