Comments: #6 Weemissgrammy (4-1) stretched out and switched to turf in a Mcl-50k affair in 2022, and she stalked and graduated in that course/distance affair. She stalked and missed by a neck last 8T in November 2022, and chased and weakened February 2023. She was a solid third when last seen April 2023. Eurton shows a profit with turf routers and Fresu wins races with this outfit. This race is lacking front end speed and the returnee might be the one to catch. #3 Etheric (5-2) fired trifecta shots in her first seven starts. She moved to the Jonathan Thomas barn and rallied for the win at KD last September. She landed the place in an all-weather route at WO in October, and was best of the rest in third at TP in December. She ran last in a local 10T affair Jan. 21, and she adds blinkers and cuts back to her winning distance. Dettori is her new pilot and she is entered for the $50k tag. #1 Mahina (3-1) was part of the trifecta in 4 of her last 5 starts. She exits a solid show finish as the beaten favorite Jan. 1 and winner Firstimeinforever smartly clicked right back Feb. 18. She removes blinkers and her winning rider Rispoli stays put, and Gallagher shows a profit with this type of short layoff runner.
