Check out my Race 2 analysis for 3-29-24 below.
SA 2 (MOC-62.5k, 7f)
Primary – #5 SUGAR FISH, #1 Ur in Trouble
Secondary – #2 Petite Ange, #3 Pace Lane
Wagers: #5 to win, Trifecta key 5/1-2-3, Superfecta 1-5/1-5/2-3/2-3
Comments: #5 Sugar Fish (2-1) moved to the Mullins barn and returned from a layoff in a $40k maiden claimer Feb. 15, and she rallied for the place behind next-out winner Belle Epoque. She missed by a half-length and was 5+ clear of next-out winner We’ll Do It Live. A repeat of that last-race number would make her tough to beat. Mullins shows a profit with second after a layoff runners and second time lasix starters. #1 Ur in Trouble (5-2) raced four times last year. She hit the board in all three MSW dirt sprints, and was unplaced in the Sorrento (G3). O’Neill’s returnee added lasix and reunited with Fresu March 23, and she stalked above fractions before fading in the lane. She removes blinkers and switches to Berrios, and she is back in less than a week. #2 Petite Ange (3-1) and #3 Pace Lane (3-1) were separated by a nose in a similar local 6f sprint Feb. 16. The former went on lasix for the first time in a rallying, runner-up finish, and the latter is a second timer adding blinkers.
