Horse Comments:
#6 Whitebeam (4-1) was part of the trifecta in 7 of her last 10 starts. She won the Gallorette (G3) and Diana (G1) last year, and landed the place in the Beaugay (G3) and Just a Game (G1) in her two starts this year. Her winning rider Flavien Prat stays put, and she will either set the pace or get first run from second.
#4 Didia (7-2) is 11-for-15 on turf and 2-for-2 at a mile and an eighth, and the tactical mare exits a strong win in the Grade 1 New York at 1 3/16 miles. Jose Ortiz rides her well and she projects a cozy stalking trip.
#10 Chili Flag (9-2) is on a roll for Chad Brown. In her last three starts, she rallied to win the Honey Fox (G2), Distaff Turf Mile (G2), and Just a Game (G1). Those three events were at one mile and we will have to see if she can work out a closing trip from the outside post at 1 1/8 miles. Irad Ortiz Jr. rides her well.
