#2 Queen of the Mud (5-2) is a talented turf sprinter for Graham Motion and he is strong with his starters moving from turf to synthetic. She won back-to-back turf sprints last year, and caught a wet turf course and ended up an even fourth in The Very One on May 17. The latter race was her first outing in more than half a year, and she bounced back with a solid runner-up finish in the Goldwood on June 22. The winners from her last two races were both next-out stakes winners. Jose Ortiz takes the call and a stalking trip is expected.
#1 Sunday Shoes (3-1) rallied to win her first two all-weather sprints at Turfway last year, and switched to dirt and landed the place behind a runaway winner in her final 2023 outing. She returned with an allowance sprint win at Turfway on Feb. 24, and stalked and faded in the Grade 3 Whimsical at Woodbine last time. Flavien Prat is listed to ride and she sports a pair of Saratoga turf bullets for this. Wesley Ward is a 30% all-weather trainer.
#3 Baby No Worries (4-1) fired trifecta shots in 7 of 9 local starts. The late runner should be finishing under her winning rider Antonio Gallardo.
