Check out my Tuesday (10-1-24) Presque Isle Downs Race 6 analysis below.
PID 6 (MSW-30k, Fillies & Mares, 1 Mile 70 Yards All-Weather) – Post Time 5:15 PM ET
Primary – #3 BEADS, #1 Entereilly
Secondary – #8 Little Miss Munny, #2 Hampton Yard
Horse Comments:
#3 Beads (7-2) moved to the Timothy Hamm barn and missed by a neck in a local sprint on Sept. 9. She stretches back out in her second start after a short layoff, and she hit the board in all four attempts on all-weather ground (3 runner-up finishes). Pablo Morales stays put and she will probably stalk the pace.
#1 Ennereilly (5-2) moved to the Graham Motion barn and finished up the track after chasing the pace in a turf sprint at Kentucky Downs on Sept. 1. That was her first start in more than nine months and Motion shows a profit with horses making their second start under his care. She stretches back out and switches to all-weather ground, and leading rider Antonio Gallardo takes the call.
#8 Little Miss Munny (4-1) is probably good for a share. The 0-for-14 sophomore filly rallied to hit the board in her last four local routes.
#2 Hampton Yard (8-1) is a $450k Uncle Mo filly switching surfaces for Victoria Oliver. She attended the pace and finished a close third in a turf route on July 20, and was beaten double digits in her last two starts. She might try to get forward early in a pace puzzler.
