#1 Sharp Ride (7-2) stretches out and Dean Pederson is 4-for-14 with his third after a layoff starters. She owns competitive sprint numbers and reunites with her winning rider Abel Cedillo, and she is a logical contender if she handles two turns.
#5 Stop Digging (5-2) stretched out to this distance and split a pair of next-out winners in a solid runner-up finish in a similar DMR affair Aug. 29. Juan Hernandez takes the call and he is a strong route rider, and Simon Callaghan shows a profit with his allowance route starters.
#8 Asada Fries (3-1) turned back and rallied to finish a close 5th at 6T Sept. 28, and that was her first start in more than half a year. She captured two turf races at one mile and was third in the Soviet Problem at this distance on dirt late last year.
