Horse Comments:
#3 Mizzyaan (4-1) was visually impressive as the chalk in her maiden win Oct. 5. She got pace help, raced outside from post 10, and earned a decent late pace rating under Umberto Rispoli. She was my top pick when she ran second as a maiden in the G3 UAE Oaks Feb. 23. She improved in all three starts in this country and has really taken to turf racing. She can win again for the recently hot and productive Rispoli/McCarthy team.
#11 Runamileinmyshoes (7-2) was part of the trifecta in 9 of 10 starts (3 wins). Her regular rider Juan Hernandez should have early-pressing options from a wide post and she is good enough to pull off the hat trick.
#4 Loterie (6-1) is 1-for-8 with five minor awards. She disappointed last time but might be able to bounce back and hit the board at a price. Ricky Gonzalez is 3-for-8 with Phil D’Amato recently.
#2 Ketonia (9-2) ran well in her last four starts. She graduated in a Mcl-50k turf route June 2 (show finisher next-out winner) for D’Amato and Ron Ellis claimed her that day. She clicked for her new connections at 8T Aug. 2 and the runner-up was a next-out winner. Last time, she rallied wide for the show at 9-1 odds. Her new rider Armando Ayuso shows a profit on turf.
