Horse Comments:
#2 Irish Prophet (4-1) rallied for the show from post 10 at 8T Jan. 4. He sports two local turf wins and ran well in all three starts at 9T (3 1-1-1). Juan Hernandez stays put and he guided this one home at this course/distance January 2024.
#8 Man Among Men (5-2) makes his first start in 7+ months and Flavien Prat takes the call. He stalked and scored in a local OC-50k/1x affair at 8T last May.
#6 Cathal (6-1) exits the sophomore graded ranks and reconnects with his winning rider Hector Berrios. He graduated in a local flat mile turf race last June.
#5 Sarwar (3-1) is entered for the $80k tag. He was head behind Irish Prophet Jan. 4 and he beat that rival at DMR last summer.
#3 Red Cross Knight (5-1) returns to the John Sadler barn and is probably the one to reel in. He fired trifecta shots in 8 of his last 10 starts and ran well in all four local turf attempts.
