Check out my Thursday (5-8-25) Aqueduct Race 6 analysis below.

AQU 6 (OC-100k, 4&up, 7 furlongs dirt) – Post Time  3:45 PM ET
Primary – #1 TWENTY FOUR MAMBA, #4 Octane
Secondary – #2 Ridgewood Runner

Horse Comments:

#1 Twenty Four Mamba (5-2) set the pace and gamely held on by a head at this course/distance April 5 and Tom Morley claimed him for $62.5k. He was clearly second best March 9 and earned quality numbers in his last pair. The versatile gelding sports three wins at this course and distance.

#4 Octane (2-1) bled and was vanned off when last seen as the beaten favorite October 2024. He drops out of the stakes ranks and goes back on lasix, and Prat takes the call. His new trainer Amelia Green is 26% this year and the 3-time extended sprint winner fired a bullet for this May 1. He should be forwardly placed.

#2 Ridgewood Runner (10-1) ran last in his last two races. He won a local extended sprint Feb. 8 and can compete with these if he rediscovers that form.

Wagers:
