Horse Comments:
#1 Tootaloo Kangaroo (2-1) frequently runs her race at this course (7 3-2-1) and distance (8 3-2-1). She romped as the favorite over a next-out winner in January. Brandon Kulp claimed her that day and she won as the even money favorite March 14. She was the favorite again May 21 and finished a distant third in the mud. She adds blinkers and should impact the pace from the inside post for a productive jockey-trainer team.
#4 Warrior’s Defense (3-1) pressed and scored by 5 lengths as the chalk on June 7, and chased the pace and was best of the rest in third as the beaten favorite at one mile on June 20. The 3-time local winner turns back and she was part of the exacta in seven of nine starts at six panels (2 wins).
#3 Dancing Diana (7-2) hit the board in all three local starts and she is 0-for-8 with for minor placings at this distance. She will try to get involved from off the pace.
