Horse Comments:
#4 Fumano’s Magic (3-1) dropped into a state bred Mcl-50k affair at this distance second time out and he stalked from the inside post and scored by 5+ lengths as the favorite, and the show finisher was a next-out winner. He added blinkers and was 5th of 9 from an outer post in a CA-bred OC-50k/1x affair Oct. 4, and he was 7th of 10 from the outside post in the Golden State Juvenile Oct. 31. He raced in traffic and finished a solid 3rd of 6 in a similar sprint at this trip Nov. 28. His winning rider Diego Herrera strings along and a stalking trip is expected.
#7 Very Quiet (4-1) dropped into a local Mcl-30k sprint on Sept. 14 and he chased from second, opened up a clear lead, and won by 3 1/2 lengths. He was up the track at SA last time and he projects an outside stalking trip under his new rider Armando Aguilar.
#2 Marcos Performance (8-1) landed the place as the favorite in a $25k claiming dirt sprint at DMR Nov. 16 and Peter Miller claimed him that day. Ricky Gonzalez is his new rider and he is versatile.
