Comments: #7 Takethemoneyhoney (1-1) is a nose and a head away from a perfect 7-for-7 record. She is 3-for-4 with a head defeat at LRL. The Willa On the Move at 6.5f on Nov. 22 was her first start in more than half a year and she chased the pace and missed by a head, and she ended up 7 1/4 lengths in front of the show finisher. She stalked and scored by a length as the favorite in the Politely at six panels on Dec. 20. #5 Late Nite Call (15-1) set the pace and missed by a neck in the local Carousel at 9f on Dec. 20. She will probably be forwardly placed. #3 Oncourtcommentator (5-2) was part of the exacta in all six local starts. Her lone below par effort was a 7th of 10 finish in the Virginia Oaks at CNL (November 2024). She raced once in 2025 and that was a rallying place effort in the Geisha (January 2025). She returns from a long layoff for Brittany Russell.

Comments: #7 Maclean’s Rook (4-1) is 3-for-5 overall and he exits back-to-back romping allowance wins at LRL. He figures to stalk the pace while out in the clear and is sharp enough to step up and compete with these. #4 Quint’s Brew (4-5) was part of the exacta in all eight starts. He won four of his first five starts at LRL including the Jennings and General George last year. He landed the place in a pair of graded starts in NY (G2 Carter, G3 Westchester), and he returned from a layoff and finished a clear second in the Howard and Sondra Bender Memorial on Dec. 20. He is a logical contender from a middle post. #2 Blue Kingdom (3-1) went 4-for-6 last year. Three of his scores were at seven panels and he won at this distance at DEL in September. He set the pace and was best of the rest in third in the Maryland Million Classic at 9f Oct. 11, and he easily tallied on the front end as the favorite at AQU (7f) in November. He dueled and faded to last of 5 at 1.70-1 odds in the same local December stakes race Quint’s Brew exits. He is fast enough to make the lead and can bounce back at playable odds.
