Check out my Thursday (5-7-26) Aqueduct Race 7 analysis below.
AQU 7 (OC-45k/2x, NY-bred 3&up, 6.5f dirt) – Post Time 4:13 PM ET
Primary – #4 CLANCY FANCY, #3 Ten Cent Town
Secondary – #2 Village Person
Horse Comments:
#4 Clancy Fancy (5-1) raced wide from the outside post and ended up a length and quarter behind Ten Cent Town April 12. That was his first start off the Ilkay Kantarmaci claim and his new rider Silvestre Gonzalez is a profitable 4-for-12 with this outfit. He should be forwardly placed and might offer a hint of value.
#3 Ten Cent Town (2-1) won three of his last five local dirt sprints and he was claimed four times since last August. He exits a $30k win as the favorite at seven panels and Brad Cox is 31% first after the claim. Manny Franco is 6-for-15 with this barn and he should be forwardly placed.
#2 Village Person (4-1) ran well in all three starts at Colonial Downs last year. He pressed and scored at 5-2 odds in his career debut (March 2025) and the clear runner-up was a next-out winner. He stalked from second and tallied by 3+ lengths second time out and the clear runner-up was a next-out winner. He was second best when last seen September 2025 and Steve Klesaris is a profitable 21% with this type of layoff runner.
