#8 How About Now (6-1) has improved since moving to turf. She broke slow, raced wide from an outer post, and missed third by a head at 8T March 7, and the show finisher was a next-out winner. She added blinkers, stalked above par fractions, and kicked away to graduate by 2 3/4 lengths in a flat mile turf race at KEE April 12. She sports a pair of works at KEE for this and might be this good.
#4 East Jabip (7-2) won both turf starts for Brian Lynch. She wired the field in her bow and chased strong fractions and scored by 2 1/2 lengths second time out. Luis Saez is 2-for-6 with this outfit recently and she should make her presence felt from the outset.
#3 Back Ring Buzz (8-1) graduated on turf last June and placed in a turf route allowance affair at KEE last fall. She landed the place in back-to-back synthetic routes at TP under Wednesday’s rider Fernando De La Cruz in January and February, and she was an even 6th of 10 in the Sanibel Island at 7.5T March 28. She goes back on lasix and might spice up the exotics.
#10 Aggressive Lime (10-1) is a 2-time turf route winner for Brad Cox. She won a MSW affair last summer and an allowance event last fall, and is 0-for-3 in the stakes ranks. Marcelino Pedroza, Jr. got acquainted with her last time and is 4-for-13 with this barn, and an outer stalking trip is expected.
