Horse Comments:
#3 Night Nurse (2-1) is probably the one to reel in. She is 4-for-12 at PID including three straight tallies at this distance last year. She was on the wrong end of the win photo in her first two starts at one mile this year, and she stalked, led, and weakened to 4th of 10 from the outside post at this trip vs. allowance foes June 23.
#1 La Crema (9-2) fired trifecta shots in four straight races. She ended her 2025 campaign with a stalking victory from the inside post at this course/distance (Clm-6250k/3L), and picked up where she left off with a local $6250k sprint win June 8 (first start in 7+ months). She stretches back out in her second start of the year and a ground saving tactical trip is anticipated.
#7 Little Miss Munny (3-1) is 2-for-21 at PID (11 underneath finishes) and 1-for-16 with nine minor awards at this distance. She drops in class and is entered for the $13.5k tag, and she will try to get involved from off the pace. I like her chances underneath.
#4 I’m Blushing (6-1) missed all of 2025 and returned from a very long layoff and won a local flat mile affair by a neck over Night Nurse as a 39-1 longshot June 2. She stalked and weakened in a regression run June 24, and she might bounce back in her third start off the bench.
