On the turf course, a 12-1 FTS wired the field at 5.5f, a 3-1 dueling front runner scored at 5.5f, stalking favorite To a Flame won the Wild Applause at 8f (inner turf), 15-1 maiden Heeere’s Johnny went last-to-first in the Saranac at 8.5f, and a front running favorite captured the 8.5f finale (inner turf).
Hat trick for Jose Ortiz (2 turf wins). John Velazquez booted home two winners on the main track.
The $1 Pick 6 pool was $207,404 and tickets with six winners paid $65,792.50. The 5 out of 6 consolation prize was $482.50.

Fast main track and firm turf course. Two front running winners on dirt (6f, 10f). On the turf courses, a stalker tallied at one mile (inner turf), a closing favorite graduated at 8.5f, and a 5-1 midpack stalker scored at 5.5f. As for the turf stakes, 23-1 early-pressing filly Kensington Lane (IRE) shipped in from Ireland and captured the G1 Belmont Oaks at 9f (inner turf), and 7-1 stalker Title Role (GB) shipped in from Germany, chased from second, and won the G1 Belmont Derby by a nose at 9f (inner turf). A 2-1 closer rallied from the back of the pack in the 8.5f finale (inner turf), and he crossed the line second and was placed first through disqualification in this NY-bred MSW affair.
Riding doubles for Joel Rosario and Ricardo Santana, Jr.

Fast main track and firm turf course. No front running winners on dirt. On the turf courses, 5-1 closer McTigue won the G1 Leo O’Brien at 2 3/8 miles (hurdles), and a stalking favorite graduated at 8.5f. 9-1 front runner Mi Bago and inside stalking favorite Zulu Kingdom finished in a dead heat for the win in the G3 Kelso at one mile (inner turf). Closing favorite Twenty Six Black smartly won the Harvey Pack at 5.5f, and a 7-1 stalker captured the 12f finale (inner turf).
Flavien Prat booted home four winners including three in turf routes. Jose Ortiz guided home two winners. Chad Brown saddled two turf route winners and Prat rode both.
