Horse Comments:
#1 Raiding Party (3-1) stalked from the inside post and scored by 2 lengths at 13-1 odds in her turf route bow at KEE last fall. She returned from a layoff of 7+ months and rallied to miss by a head as the favorite at 8.5T May 7 (first lasix), and she rallied wide from post 10 to score by 2 1/4 lengths as the chalk at CD June 4. She goes off lasix and sports four works since her last start. Ben Curtis got acquainted with her last time and he is 8-for-22 with Brendan Walsh.
#3 Ground Support (5-1) stunned the crowd with a 100-1 shocker in her KD bow Aug. 30. She proved that was no fluke in a front running victory at 12-1 odds in the G2 Miss Grillo second time out. She was 15-1 in the G1 BC Juvenile Fillies Turf and she stalked from post 11 and finished third at 24-1 odds. She chased and weakened to split a 10-horse field in her Tepin return June 27 (1st start in 7+ months). The connections are ice cold (0-for-20 combo) and I like her more underneath. She drilled a 5f bullet for this at TP July 10.
#7 Marjoram (8-1) returns to turf and reconnects with her winning rider Juan Hernandez. She rallied to win the G3 Senorita under this rider May 9.
#5 Peanutbutterbombe (8-1) ran well in all four starts and she is versatile. She earned a better number in a flat mile turf win May 15 and Antonio Fresu got to know her that day.
