Horse Comments:
#7 The White Lady (7-2) was the favorite in all four starts in this country and she finished in the trifecta in each of those races (1 win). Her turf win was at this course/distance last summer, and she returned from a layoff of 9+ months and finished third at 8T June 5. Antonio Fresu got to know her last time and a stalking trip is expected.
#8 Canto Della Terra (4-1) won both turf sprints at SA since arriving in this country. Phil D’Amato’s filly stretches out and Ricky Gonzalez got acquainted with her last time.
#3 Ribbons (9-2) has not been seen since setting a pressured pace from post 11 and weakening to 8th in the G1 American Oaks at 10T December 2025. She wired the field in a pair of local flat mile turf starts last year. Joel Rosario hops aboard Leonard Powell’s returnee.
#4 Mi Confession (8-1) ran well in her last two flat mile turf starts under Emisael Jaramillo (8-for-45 w/Michael McCarthy). She wired the field at SA April 26 (OC-50k, show finisher next-out winner), and she set below par splits and landed the place June 5 (The White Lady 3rd). She should be forwardly placed.
