#5 Shy Da Runner (5-2) was part of the exacta in his last four local sprints. The 6-time local winner is 2-for-3 at this distance and he owns early-pressing versatility. Murray Rojas claimed him on June 9 and he completed the exacta in both starts since.
#6 Vinsanity (9-5) shipped to Presque Isle and missed by a nose on May 18, and he won all three starts since. The sharp gelding should be right up on the pace for a productive jockey-trainer team.
#4 Call Me Later (7-2) was part of the trifecta in eight of his last ten starts. The 9-year-old gelding returned from a layoff of 8+ months and landed the show on July 3, and the clear runner-up was a next-out winner. He drilled a local half-mile for this on July 30.
#1 Irish Victory (9-2) finished in the top three in seven of his last nine outings. He is 6-for-15 at Presque Isle and should impact the pace from the inside post.
